Corrections

When we find a mistake, or you point one out, we check it against the source, fix it and log it here with the date and what changed. That way you know whether a figure you quoted has changed.

How it works

  • Tell us through the contact form: say which page has the mistake and, if you can, the correct source.
  • We check it against the official source or by redoing the calculation.
  • If it’s a mistake, we fix it and log it below: the date, the page, what it said before and what it says now.
  • Updates aren’t corrections. When an agency publishes new data (new population estimates, new boundaries), we update it and note the new data version below.
